The staff are incredible - genuinely welcoming, friendly, conscientious, and responsive. A very family friendly, relaxed environment. And the food is consistently delicious! The menu gives strong bar food vibes, but it’s so well executed that I frequently crave their asian chicken salad or their chicken fig sandwich. The truffle burger is excellent, and the cowboy quesadilla is jammed packed full. Everything I have had has been tasty. And the beer!!! Fantastic selection, and great quality. My husband loves hazy IPAs, and is always happy with whatever version is on tap that day. I prefer dark beers, and love the oatmeal stout or the scotch ale, but can’t turn down the pumpkin rye when the season calls for it. ~ Jessica A
I am so happy we stopped in here. We had a chance to talk to brewers Adam and Riley about their process and how the brew the beers. These two are artists! I was so impressed with their skill, craft, and creativity. Their commitment to using science to ensure their high quality ingredients result in a great experience for me was so cool. So glad they let us pick their brains, we learned so much. Would definitely recommend their Kolsch and Brewberry Pie beers. The food at the brewery was also delicious and they had a huge menu. We enjoyed the fish and chips and the kicked chicken BLT wrap. I’m looking forward to bringing my whole family here soon at what is likely to become one of our new favorite spots. ~ Sam A
Came down to S2S today, it was awesome, started off getting greeted with a smile from Kamon and Tiffany, then got some Truffle Fries and BBQ Pork Flatbread with my buddy Burke. Great hangout spot for sure and the food was just as good as the beer! After a couple more beers I had an Elk Burger and I have to say the cook Brian has his skills dialed in for sure! That was two weeks ago so I came back to see if it would live up to the hype I remembered my first visit... It definitely did! Bri the bartender today was skillful, witty and pretty! She puts you in a great mood, honestly a real kick in the pants to watch interact with customers and get them smiling, laughing and having a great time! Oh and side note... that cute girl Tiffany was working again tonight too so that didn't suck either! This place rocks! ~ Martin M
I want to give a hearty applause to a hidden gem in Snohomish, Washington - Sound to Summit Brewing. In 2020, my Husband and I had the pleasure of welcoming a delightful fur baby into our family, who we lovingly named Lowkey. He’s our fur-covered bundle of joy! As he struggles with being alone, we always endeavor to find destinations that are accommodating for our big guy. Recently, we had the pleasure of dining at Sound to Summit, which to our delight, has a special section on their menu for our four-legged friends. We treated Lowkey to two succulent all-beef patties and a couple of bacon strips. The team's care and attention were well evident when they brought out the bacon decorated with a ketchup paw print, an adorable gesture! Certainly, we will be revisiting this lovely establishment and most importantly Lowkey gave his paw of approval! Kevin Yoder #snohomishcounty ~ Becky Y
Stopped at the Everett location on Wednesday for a beverage and some food. The staff were very helpful and friendly ( tall guy and very petite younger gal). Both made my wife and I really feel welcomed. The pizza was delicious, had a Supreme and the Apex IPA was really good as well. My wife was excited to see the Wed wine special and took advantage of that. We had been in a few months back and food and drink were good but the staff were less than welcoming so very happy to have these two last night. And they brought our food to us and brought us plates and a box for leftovers before we even asked! Big thumbs up! Keep treating customers like this and we will be back more often.. ~ William B
Edited after reading the owner’s reply: I suppose the original review below was for the restaurant portion of this establishment “Best Of Both World’s” and not “Sound To Summit” brewery. 5 stars to S2S for their service and beer! ———————- I have come here often over the years with many changes in ownership and menu. I love the beer, delicious food, and great service. I understand inflation is affecting everyone however $14 for a tiny grilled cheese sandwich (with the crusts cut off as if it’s for a child) was disappointing. Delicious but I was missing the other half of my sandwich (and my crusts). ~ Lauren J
In Everett for work travel. Finished day early and looked up brewery near me. First went to Scuttlebutt, which had good choices but then I went to Sound to Summit and was highly impressed with not only the choices of beers but the whole atmosphere. All employees were very friendly and answered all my questions about the beers and on their history. Food was amazing. I got the clam chowder but I saw the pretzel and a blackened chicken salad go to other customers and.they looked amazing. I recommend Sound to Summit and when I'm back in the area it will be my only stop for beer. ~ Mary J
Tonight I had the Truffle fries that come with grated Parmesan cheese. Could use a little more truffle oil, would recommend grated cheese from a block instead of from the can for a little more fresh flavor, (This isn't a deal breaker). The staff is super friendly, the owner is present and eager to say hello which is awesome. The beer is awesome and so is the atmosphere. Stopped in Saturday March 19th for a couple pints and also tried the Brussels sprouts and a piece of their scallions focaccia. Wow, both were delicious, especially the sprouts with the balsamic glaze and grated Parmesan. ~ Brian G
My wife and I have been to S2S several times over the last couple months. Great experience each time! Beers are excellent, food is very good, service is prompt, courteous, and fun. We went last night, which was trivia night, and the place was packed. But our server was still very upbeat, not impatient, and I was amazed at how quickly the food came out even though the place was full and extremely busy. I would highly recommend Sound to Summit to anyone looking for a relaxing spot with great beer. Oh, and it's family friendly! (Nice patio space also.) ~ Don G
Had an excellent first visit to Sound2Summit Brewing with another couple this week. We met for late lunch and were not disappointed in food, drink or service👍 The beer selection is very good - we really enjoyed a dark, chocolatey Porter. We ordered the blackened salmon Caesar salad which was delicious. The salmon portion larger than expected, herb seasonings tasty and salmon extremely well prepared. Staff checked in regularly and were all pleasant people. Atmosphere was open, high ceilings, big windows and a great outdoor patio. We will return. Recommend for sure. ~ s m
Great beer and wonderful food! Tucked in the corner of a business park just off Highway 9 is Sound to Summit Brewing. They offer expansive indoor seating and heated outdoor seating under a covered patio. Sound to Summit Brewing isn’t your typical brewery with only a few simple items on their menu of food and a mixture of their labeled beer and other breweries beer. The food was varied and had delicious signature dishes like their Summit Fries, hamburgers and salads. We shared their Asian Crispy Chicken Salad which had crispy sweet crusted chicken that perfectly complemented the salad. They have a selection of beer that expands almost everyone’s tastes, from lagers, kolsh, IPA’s to Scotch ales and stouts. We really enjoyed the Peanut butter Stout and the Naughty Nick, their seasonal. We sat at the bar as it was quit busy, but had the opportunity to meet Doug and a number of the mug club members who were all incredibly friendly. We will definitely be going back! ~ Jenn W
I absolutely love this place. I’ve been here at least 5 times over the last 2 years, and every experience has been great. Today I got food to go and had a beer while I waited. I got there around 2 pm, and the gentleman behind the bar was super helpful! They were out of the porter I had requested, but he had another couple to recommend, and brought me a sample before I could even ask.... wish I could have this kind of service everywhere. Was also greeted by a friendly staff member as soon as I walked in. Eating my takeaway now, and it’s as good as I remember. Always impressed with this place. Also, it’s refreshing to come to an establishment that has outdoor covered seating with the side flaps actually open... most places have outdoors tent seating, and the plastic sides are always down... what’s the point of even having them if there’s not air flow!? This place is taking covid precautions seriously, every staff member was wearing a mask, and tables are appropriately placed. Sound to summit is my go to for a great experience. ~ Noelle S
I have been to both the Snohomish and Everett locations and both are fabulous! The beer is amazing as they always have their flagships and then quite a few rotating beers. I love to do the flights because there are just too many good beers to try! The food at both locations is great as well as the people. Kacey is AMAZING and you will often see Doug the owner. He really does awesome things for the community. Oh and both have outdoor seating! Quit reading this review and get to one of their locations! ~ Katie W
Service & Staff. Amazing. Hawks game day. Awesome. This truffle burger, just wow. The flight of brews, outstanding. We’ve been trying places around for Hawks game days and we will literally look no more. Cool environment, quaint, off the beaten path, food is craft and absolutely delicious, brews are award winning for a reason. Yes, I’m super happy for so many obvious reasons. Oh, and our Hawks are winning 💙💚 Get yo selves on ovahhh here now, ya hear? ~ Jessica G
I am usually a hamburger or a steak or a chicken wing guy when I eat out but yesterday on the recommendation of one of the employees I got the Asian chicken salad and the chicken was deep-fried and sliced into chunks and put on top. With the dressing that came with it, I poured over the entire salad and I think for the first time ever I ate the entire salad and I must say… Well done to the chef and their staff for such a great tasting salad. ~ Noone Y
I must say at first I was skeptical, but the food made me a believer! I ordered a coke and it came in a can so I was not too impressed. BUT then the food came! I had the fried chicken sandwich with a side salad! Both were AMAZING!! The dressing was homemade and delicious!! The fried chicken was one of the best!! My husband had the BBQ Burger and wow!! The beef was exceptional and the fries delicious!! Would go back! Props to the chef! ~ Tracie P
Fun, energized place always playing good music (a rarity!), great beers, and lots of seating! Food is pub fare & delicious- their pulled pork sandwich is a win, and the 'monster fries' are awesome, crispy and perfect waffle fries, & if you're looking for something on the healthier side, they have really good salads. Most importantly, GREAT beers. <-- I've always been impressed with what they've crafted in-house.... love it! ~ Jora I
On 4th visit now, consistently great service - though the atmosphere is very chill. Food and beer comes out quick but it can take a bit for the servers to stop by. Beers have good variety and profile but usually nothing remarkable. Food is very good, half nachos are enough for 2 people but they're not Tex-Mex style so don't expect them to be drowning in cheese, but fish tacos are delicious. Would visit again! ~ Alex G
Kid friendly. Easy parking. Great selection of beer/wine/cider This place has outdoor seating which is good in this weather. I really enjoyed it outdoors. The food was great. It was not loaded in grease. It was very tasty. The portion sizes are filling. The drinks are also good. I really think the best part of the experience other than the food is the ambience. That outside seating is just perfect. ~ Jasmine F
FIVE STARS! My husband and I had 2 different burgers. They tasted like someones dad was out back grilling them with love in his white new balance shoes and long jean shorts, freaking amazing! The truffle fries & the regular fries were perfect! Their garlic dipping sauce was so bomb! Their beer was great as well as our service. Prices are average, so no complaint here. OH! THE JALOPENO BACON APP! OMG BEST EVER!! ~ Glynn A
Great place with friendly staff, good food, and tasty beer. We sat next to a brewer enjoying his day off with beer and cribbage - always a good sign when the staff enjoys the place. The food was very tasty, with a great dipping sauce for the tots (the owner gave us the secret). And the beer was tasty and brewed with skill. Dogs abounded, the tables were packed, and the vibe was buzzing. Just a great place! ~ Richard O
Haven't been in for a while... New Owners, New Brewer so had to stop in to see what was in store for Snohomish Beer. And WOW they hit it out of the park.. S2S has always had a great staff, the beers are even better and the food has taken a step in the right direction... I am looking forward to spending many more evenings here with family and friends.. Congratulations to the new owners on taking a place that was good and making it GREAT!!! ~ Rich K
I have been a loyal customer since S2S has opened and it just keeps getting better. They have a great staff that takes pride in providing good service. The beer and food are always very good. We had our company holiday party there this year and it was a great experience. I highly recommend S2S as a place to visit and I guarantee you will be back if you do! ~ Jon W
Had a great experience at Sound to Summit Brewery! The atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, the food was spot-on, and the drinks were even better. Huge shoutout to our waitress, Lauren, she was incredibly kind, attentive, and on top of everything without being overbearing. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure guests have a great time. We’ll definitely be back soon! ~ Gray S
